Hungary, Misunderstood?
The constitutional questionnaire recalls the survey spoofed by the famous Hungarian writer István Örkény in his “one minute story,” called “Public Opinion Poll.” In the story, hapless communist citizens are asked a series of random questions only to have the results conclude that everything is perfect, except that the #19 bus could run more often.
